We're underway at the John Smith's Stadium.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Huddersfield Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the John Smith's Stadium.
Huddersfield are sleepwalking towards the Championship, suffering a 14-match winless run, which has left them rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table. Jan Siewert's men have not recorded a victory in the league since defeating tonight's opponents at Molineux in November. The Terriers are 14 points adrift of safety and are close to needing a miracle to avoid relegation. A win is must tonight for Siewert's side.
SUBS: Juninho Bacuna, Elias Kachunga, Aaron Mooy, Ben Hamer, Chris Lowe, Laurent Depoitre, Mathias Jorgensen.
SUBS: Ivan Cavaleiro, Helder Costa, Morgan Gibbs-White, John Ruddy, Romain Saiss, Ruben Vinagre, Adama Traore.
Wolves reached the magical 40-point mark at the weekend in their draw against Bournemouth, although Nuno Espirito Santo's men were long since assured of their top-flight survival. The Midlands outfit are on a five-match unbeaten run and will be keen to avenge their defeat from earlier in the campaign by notching another victory this evening.
Jan Siewert will be pleased with his side's response to their defeat at the hands of Newcastle at the weekend. They've been more resolute at the back, although their issues in the final third continue. No matter who Huddersfield play up front they've not managed to force the issue. The Terriers will have to take a risk at some point against Wolves this evening.
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (3-4-3): Jonas Lossl; Jon Gorenc Stankovic, Christopher Schindler, Terence Kongolo; Demeaco Duhaney, Jonathan Hogg, Philip Billing, Erik Durm; Steve Mounie, Alex Pritchard, Karlan Grant.
Huddersfied are next in action in the Premier League on Saturday against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium, while Wolves host Cardiff City at Molineux.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
