We are underway!
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary on Atletico Madrid's LaLiga trip to Getafe.
ATLETICO (4-4-2): Jan Oblak, Juanfran, Jose Gimenez, Lucas Hernandez, Filipe Luis; Thomas Lemar, Rodrigo, Saul Niguez, Koke; Diego Costa, Antoine Griezmann.
Getafe subs: Leonardo Chicizola, Dimitri Foulquier, Sergi Guardiola, Sebastian Cristoforo, Gaku Shibasaki, Jaime Mata, Ivan Alejo.
GETAFE (4-4-2): David Soria; Damian Suarez, Bruno Gonzalez, Leonardo Cabrera, Vitorino Antunes; Francisco Portillo, Mauro Arambarri, Djene Dakonam, Amath Ndiaye; Angel Rodriguez, Jorge Molina.
Let's see how the teams will be lining up...
Atletico subs: Antonio Adan, Thomas Partey, Diego Godin, Borja Garces, Gelson Martins, Angel Correa, Nikola Kalinic.
The scoreline is looking good for Atletico at the halfway stage, but they aren't sitting comfortably and need to do more if they're to leave with all three points. Getafe have done well in the final third, and while they're yet to truly test Oblak, they'll be pleased with how they've performed so far.
Atletico are always keen to sit deep and soak up the pressure, but one of the things that will have worried Simeone is how easily they've given away possession. It's stopped them from hitting Getafe on counter-attacks, which is surely their best way of doubling the lead.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
It wasn't the easiest of games for Atletico, who had to battle hard against a tough Getafe side, but they've managed to leave with a much-needed victory thanks to two really well-worked goals. They have Lemar to thank for both of them, and the victory is one that takes a little bit of pressure off Simeone after a disappointing start to the season.
Getafe will feel frustrated they weren't able to come away with anything, as they caused Atletico plenty of problems before the break. They were carved apart by a great move for the second goal, though, and it never looked as if there was any way back for them after Alejo saw red.
